You do the paperwork. We do the floor.

Floortime For Kids delivers DIR/Floortime sessions to children in their homes and schools. What we need is a Pennsylvania-licensed BCBA behind that work: insurance assessments written to standard, session notes, clean data, and a presence on Zoom so the documentation reflects what actually happened. All of it is done remotely — the clinical hours and the home visits stay with our Floortime team. Cases come as they come, and you take what fits.

Full job description

DIR/Floortime therapy in family homes and schools, so a child feels seen and heard, valued, safe, and connected. The clinical sessions are ours — this role is the assessment and documentation behind them, done entirely remotely.

Benefits and perks

  • Fully remote. Every part of this role is done from wherever you are. No drive, no in-home visits, no office.
  • Back-end only. Assessments, data, paperwork and Zoom sessions. You are not asked to deliver clinical support — our Floortime team does that.
  • Part-time, per diem. Take cases as they come. No minimum caseload, no block you have to fill.
  • Start immediately. The work is waiting — this is not a role that begins next quarter.
  • Cases as they come. Volume moves with referrals. You say yes to what fits your week.
  • Insurance assessments. The part of the job you already know how to do properly.
  • Join by Zoom. You sit in on sessions to see what you are writing about — without running them.
  • DIR/Floortime setting. A play-first, neurodiversity-affirming practice, even though your part is the documentation.
  • Direct to the founder. You work with Avital, not through three layers of scheduling.
  • Pennsylvania license. Required — this is PA casework.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Conduct insurance-based assessments and write them up to payer standard.
  • Write and maintain session notes.
  • Own the data — collection, graphs, and what they say about progress.
  • Handle the clinical paperwork an insurer expects to see.
  • Join sessions on Zoom to observe, so the documentation reflects the work — remotely, never in the home.
  • Flag what the data shows to the clinical team.
  • No direct clinical support and no in-person visits: our Floortime clinicians deliver the sessions.

Qualifications and skills

  • Active BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
  • Pennsylvania behaviour-analyst licensure — required.
  • Experience with insurance-based assessments and session notes.
  • Ready to start immediately.
  • Happy with part-time, per-diem work, taking cases as they come.
  • Comfortable working fully remotely in a back-end role rather than a clinical-facing one.
