She built it because she watched people burn out.

Lifeline ABA exists because Nancy — a BCBA herself — got tired of watching brilliant clinicians burn out in practices that treated caseloads as a number to maximise. So she made a different one: caseloads stay sane, the behavior technicians are selectively hired, supervision is real, and the person who owns the company knows exactly what your week feels like because she has had it.

Full job description

A BCBA-owned practice in North Jersey built around consistency: small, specialized caseloads, selectively hired behavior technicians, and enough staff that care never gets compromised.

Benefits and perks

  • Small, specialized caseloads. Kept deliberately small, with enough staff behind them that you are not covering for gaps every week.
  • Technicians who were actually vetted. The BTs go through a selective interview process. You inherit a team, not a staffing problem.
  • Real supervision. Supervision here is a practice, not a checkbox on a compliance form.
  • Your ideas shape the company. It is small enough that what you suggest on Monday can be how things work by the end of the month.
  • Structure and consistency. Highly organized and well structured — the thing most BCBAs say they are missing.
  • Hard work, and the other kind. Two company events a year, and they are genuinely fun: cake decorating, clay pottery, that sort of thing.
  • Hybrid. A mix of in-person and remote across North Jersey.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Carry a small, specialized caseload across North Jersey.
  • Assess, write treatment plans, and adjust them from the data.
  • Supervise and develop the behavior technicians on your cases.
  • Work with families as a genuine partner in the plan.
  • Keep documentation to payer and licensing standard.

Qualifications and skills

  • Active BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
  • New Jersey LBA licensure, or eligibility before start date.
  • Based in or willing to work across Bergen, Passaic, Hudson or Essex.
  • Wants autonomy, and wants to be part of building something.
